The City of Norwalk is nearing completion of the Colonial Parkway Regional Stormwater Detention Facility. This stormwater facility was developed to serve approximately 100 acres south of Colonial Parkway and immediately east of Sunset Drive/Hwy 28, including the planned Norwalk Central development located within the Hughes Century Crossing development. The stormwater facility is approximately 10 acres in size and includes multiple pools which will detain collected stormwater flows and manage downstream discharge for the developed service area.
